The Friends of LCS

All parents are automatically members of our parents’ association. The Friends organise an annual calendar of lively and engaging social and fundraising events for pupils, parents and families, including Christmas and summer fairs, disco and movie nights, quiz and comedy nights, Bonfire Night, Easter egg hunts and a Summer Ball.

We also have a team of Patrons of The Friends who regularly provide support and considerable contribution to the activities of the Friends and who give us a wider representation across the school community.  In addition, the Friends support the school by organising:

• A Pre-Loved Uniform Shop - accessed via this online form

• A team to help with the Library at the Longdon campus

• Parent volunteers who listen to children read out loud

The Friends Committee are a wonderful group of parents, generous with their time, talents and creativity. We are incredibly grateful for their support and for the enrichment they bring to the lives and educational experiences of our pupils.
