Isla Charlotte and Jessica

Congratulations to Isla (Year 11), Charlotte and Jessica (both Year 10) who represented LCS at the recent Lichfield Schools Speaking Competition at the Guildhall and emerged as winners!

The motion this year was ‘that this House believes the UK should aim for a cashless society’ and saw students from The Friary School, King Edward VI School and LCS arguing against, while Erasmus Darwin Academy opted to support it.  Each team had to present their arguments and one student from each team had to answer two questions from the judges. Well done to the team for their outstanding performance in the competition, competing against Sixth Formers from other schools.
